On Feb. 14, 2024, Morningstar Data Services will have a schema update for the trigger file generated for scheduled feeds to provide further information about the file.
This update affects clients with any scheduled feeds with the "Subscribe to trigger file" feature enabled. Clients who currently have one or more files with this feature enabled should make appropriate adjustments to ensure they can process the updated trigger file starting Feb. 14, 2024.
The context of the text (txt) trigger file will be updated to the following structure, while the name of the trigger file will remain the same:
Please note that fileGenerationTimestamp and rowCount are net new additions after the second row. We will add a fileSize key in front of the byte size on the existing second row.
We will express the FileGenerationTimestamp in UTC, and rowCount will conditionally populate for CSV files.
